Since 2000, the number of expatriate workers and foreign nationals allowed in China has increased exponentially. This has resulted in an increase in demand for foreign companies and private hospitals to cater to these people who often do not understand Chinese as their primary language.

Since many international students who graduate from medical schools in China may have knowledge of English and other key languages important to the job, this provides a competitive edge during the hiring process.

Also, there's an option to relocate back to your home country and become a licensed medical practitioner. China’s MBBS graduates are in high demand due to the bilingual distribution in their separate countries.
