Kyrgyzstan is a central country inhabited by people of Eastern Asian descent and surrounded by other Central Asian countries including Tajikistan to the south-west, Uzbekistan to the north-east and China to the south-east. Its capital city is Bishkek.
It has a population of 6,592,000 people spread over an area of 198,500 square kilometers (76,960 sq mi). Kyrgyzstan’s relation with its neighboring lands has been fluctuating from mostly conflictive to peaceful owing to its location as an easy path for invaders from all sides.
Kyrgyzstan is a landlocked nation located in Central Asia surrounded by China and other countries along the border of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and some others. The country has an ample mountainous region known as the Tian Shan which covers more than 80% of its total land area but is encircled by the Pamir mountains to the north and east; making for a very diverse geographic terrain overall.
This valley actually lies near to a border that separates Kyrgyzstan with Iran and Uzbekistan. Presently during these times, we know that overall there are two major rivers that sporadically makes their way across this aforementioned frontier and fills various areas including mainland Kyrgyzstan too!
The temperate northern foothills and Tian Shan vary from dry continental to polar climate. Depending on elevation, daytime temperatures in winter average between 15° F and -10°F with periods of sub-zero cold lasting up to 3 months in some regions when it's colder than -30°F .
The country of Kyrgyzstan is located in the mountains of South-Central Asia. Relatively poor and one of the most politically volatile countries in the region and was involved in ethnic combat especially with its neighbor to the south, Uzbekistan. Though it has been peaceful for several years now, political instability still looms over the country. As of January 2012, China announced to aid $3 billion USD toward modernization efforts of this country. Now counry has evolved with top medical colleges in Kyrgyzstan for Indian students in 2025.
